YouTube WatchChain is a Chrome extension that allows you to visualize your viewing history on YouTube. It displays the most recently watched YouTube videos in a convenient popup and provides ideological classification based on a neural network model trained on thousands of YouTube videos. A graph of the past week's activity allows you to notice trends, while a list of most frequently occurring words provides insight into the topics that you spend the most time on. Privacy statement: YouTube WatchChain tracks your YouTube viewing history and helps you visualize your viewing trends. It stores your viewing history locally, so your history is not stored in a server. Additionally, the extension provides ideological classification using a neural network classifier. In order to classify, the extension sends the titles of videos that you viewed to a remote server running the classifier in a secure HTTPS request. This data is not persistently stored. The extension can be disabled at any time through the chrome://extensions page.
