Kids can use Messenger Kids to chat individually and in groups, as well as to video call. Messenger Kids has several special features. The account can be created only by parents. Additionally, they must confirm each contact with the child and can prevent strangers from initiating contact. Parents of two children who wish to chat on Facebook must be friends. Adults wishing to make contact must themselves be members of the children's contact circle. If a child blocks or notifies an access, his or her parents will automatically receive a notification so that they can take action if necessary.
