HBO Sync

HBO Sync lets you watch HBO GO/NOW videos with a friend remotely by synchronizing the times of your videos. Whenever you play, pause, or seek your video, your friend's video will do the same (and vice versa). Users can also optionally use video/audio chat to communicate during the show! *SETUP* - both users should install this Chrome extension - both users must be logged into HBO GO/NOW (can use same account) - navigate to any page with a playable video and the extension will become available - click extension icon and follow the instructions in the extension popup This extension does NOT: - do screen sharing - allow you to stream HBO GO/NOW videos to another person - send data to a server (the connection between users is purely peer-to-peer)
