Persistent identifiers make stuff citable, but they are still too often hidden in metadata or below the fold. Permalink's Awakening fixes that. This extension adds a hyperlink to the page's most durable URL next to the page's title, whenever possible. Durable URLs include permalinks, persistent identifiers (a.k.a. PIDs, including but not limited to DOIs, PMIDs, and arXiv IDs) and canonical links. This extension is open source.
